Regionals Meet Up
Hey guys. We are going to eat dinner together as a club after registration on Monday. If you want to eat dinner before, that is fine but please still come. Not only are we going to make sure everyone is ready, but we are also going to just relax and pray to make sure God teaches us what we need to get out of the week.
Open House
Hey guys. Our open house this year will be on May 11'th at 2:00pm. So start spreading the word! Practice will be the same day at 12:00. Andrew will be sending out assignments by club next Tuesday.
Club This Tuesday Prep For Regionals
We have 2 weeks to get ready for Regionals. We have ballots to go over and cases to discuss. There will be no logic classes till after Regionals.

End Of Year Party 2010
Hi LOGOS families.
Looking at our LOGOS calendar and Dan's work calendar has me thinking far off for an end of the year family party. Look at May 15th and give me feedback. By then maybe the sun will have warmed up our pool as well. I am thinking about 3:00 but I am flexible.

No Club March 16, 2009
No speech, logic, or debate on Tuesday. Rest up and study for SC. Also if you made any briefs share them with Andrew so he can send them out to everyone before Tuesday.
Case Lists
First off pray for Talley/Westmark they are the only Logos team on the SC TP waiting list.
Secondly, update the case list and update any briefs with flows you got from Fl.
Homework For Feb. 16
Hey guys for homework in debate. Coordinate with each other and research these cases:
Nuclear Loan Guarantees
Snake River Dams
Ban Styrofoam
And that new kind of biofuel
For logic simply create truth tables for the following phrases:

Congrats to all the debaters and speakers who broke at the FL Tournament. Yet, let us not get lazy. We are having club at the normal time this week. I hope everyone got their logic homework done. Also it is imperative that you bring your ballots and flows. Again all of yall are awesome, and I cannot wait to work with yall more these next few weeks.

Our club participates in the National Christian Forensics and Communication Association (NCFCA) which is a Christian Homeschool Competition Speech and Debate League.
Vision:
Mission:
This is a Christian Speech and Debate club for homeschooled students that compete in the National Christian Forensics and Communications Association (NCFCA) League. We support the mission of NCFCA which states that formal speech and debate can provide a means for homeschooled students to learn and exercise analytical and oratorical skills, addressing life issues from a Biblical world view in a manner that glorifies God. The competitive arena gives students the opportunity to refine their speech and debate skills so that they can take those skills and use them in the community to communicate effectively for God's honor and glory.
